Cancer Patients: Gather strength, build resilience, learn exciting ways to help yourself, unwind and engage hope for your journey with personal assistance from Grace Gawler and Pip Cornall.  Learn to meditate effectively - we actually show you how, as well as how to practise imagery for healing and recovery. Grace has a proven track record and is Australia’s pioneer of cancer support, having been the key factor in the survival of her former husband, Ian Gawler whom she married in 1976 when he was given just 2 weeks to live.  The Gawlers created history with their story and were at the forefront of the cancer survivors movement around the globe.

Grace says: “Clarendon Forest Retreat is the perfect setting for my new Healing Journey retreats for cancer patients and their partners in 2008. The retreat hosts luxury 4.5 Star Accommodation at an affordable price and the content of my workshop is  based on 30 years experience in cancer support, natural medicine and healing.”
Logistics:
Clarendon is a 1000 acre private luxury retreat nestled in the Kiwarrak State Forest and National Park on the Mid North Coast - South of Taree and north west of Forster, and is just over 3 hours drive north from Sydney.
Clarendon is located 3 hours north of Sydney on the inland side of the Pacific Highway - less than half an hour away from both Taree and Forster. Overseas clients can fly into Sydney Airport to connect with a flight to Taree. There are usually 2-3 flights each day. For these clients there is an option overnight stay (extra fee) enabling a one to one consultation and opportunity for a massage and some R&R before taking the journey home. Our first retreat for 2008 can be viewed by selecting ‘Retreats’ on the main menu and  retreat registration and payment can be secured online at ‘Product/Bookings’ also on the main menu. To view accomodation costs and options go to “Retreats 2008″ and scroll.
